We used to sit on top of the bunkers around the compound at Phu Bai at 2 am smokin' dope, listening to tapes of Janis, and watching the VC shoot rockets at us. Janis was at home there and anywhere people were hurtin'. God loved her. We all did. Bless her.

no 'image', no 'gimmick', just real music and real talent!! sad what has happened to the music industry where it is rarely about the music any more rather than the 'merchandise' (money).

I love her so much. And though I was born in 1997 I still listened to the tapes that my mom had and I love this song very much!
